The Interfaith Works Companies Caring Breakfast celebrates our community-wide partnerships that help uplift our neighbors in need. Interfaith Works serves over 16,000 people each year by empowering individuals and families with the tools and skills to lift themselves from poverty and homelessness.
The 20th Annual Companies Caring Breakfast will fill the room with 400 corporate and government leaders, foundation representatives and community partners who gather together to celebrate partnership on behalf of our neighbors in need. Each year at the breakfast, Interfaith Works recognizes individuals and organizations who have gone far beyond what was or could have been expected in contributing to the success of Interfaith Works and improving the quality of life in our community. This year, we are thrilled to recognize four tremendous awardees, who are civic minded, socially responsible and committed to ending poverty in Montgomery County.
Interfaith Works 2017 Honorees:
Interfaith Works is committed to attacking the root causes of poverty, and has set a new strategic direction to make Montgomery County the lowest poverty rate county in the state of Maryland. It is an audacious goal, but we believe we can get there, especially with the commitment and passion of our 2017 awardees. In recognition of our honorees, awards funds have been created to help Interfaith Works in its mission to empower people to lift themselves out of poverty.
